What does a professional organiser do?
We create organised systems that suit your individual requirements, bringing function, control and simplicity to your living space. We bring order to your home by guiding you on what items to keep and the most effective ways to store them. We can teach you the basic principles of organisation, helping you to maintain a harmonious living environment, saving you time and money along the way.
What spaces do you organise?
We focus primarily on spaces in the home, however we love a challenge, so if you have a unique space to organise - count us in! We can assist with both residential and commercial spaces.
What city/areas do you service?
We are based on the Sunshine Coast, but we are happy to extend our services beyond our local area. Please note that travel costs may apply to areas outside our designated area, however, rest assured these costs will be clearly outlined up front so there are no surprises.
How much does professional organising cost?
The cost varies depending on the project size and scope. Consultations are the best way to present the project, followed by an estimate of the costs.
What happens during the free discovery call and consultation?
We like to get to know you and your space, this helps us understand your needs and goals. We will ask you some specific questions about your space and what is troubling you the most. We may ask you if you have a particular budget in mind, or how much you would like to be involved in the process. We may request photographs of your space or schedule an in-person visit. We will then provide you with a personalised cost estimate and discuss any necessary product purchases. The ultimate goal is to create a plan that will meet your expectations and help guide the project to achieve all of your goals.
Do I need to buy products or containers before you arrive?
No, you can leave that to us! During the assessment of the project, we might suggest some storage solutions, such as baskets or containers to help organise and store your belongings. We always try to repurpose any storage items you may already have. If additional products are needed, we will provide you with a list of items and their estimates.
Should I clean before my consultation or organising session?
Tidying up your space is not necessary, as it helps us understand the way you are currently living in your space, and this gives us the opportunity to see ways to improve it. We will wipe surfaces and vacuum your newly organised space. For heavy duty cleaning, we may suggest a separate cleaning service.
Should I be home when the organisers are working?
While there are some projects that do not require you to be home, other projects will require you to make decisions on what you would like to keep, donate or sell. Decluttering typically happens at the start of a session, so your organiser may require you to be there for the first hour or so. If you have already purged your unwanted items, then your organiser can work independently. It is always a good idea to be available by phone if your organiser needs to ask you a question.
How involved do I need to be?
Some clients love the excitement of coming home to their ‘new’ space, whilst others want to be involved the entire time. Either way is up to you. Some projects may require you to be involved with the process. Please discuss this with us during your consultation.
Where do unwanted items go?
We usually donate unwanted items to local charities. If the items are not suitable for donation, then we may be able to take them to a recycling centre for you. Please discuss this with us.
Can you sell any unwanted items for me?
We generally like to leave this up to you, so that you can coordinate product viewing and or pick-ups directly with your buyer. If you are not able to do this, then we may be able to arrange this for you.
Can you help me move?
Yes! We would love to help you move! We can assist you with decluttering, donating and packing, as well as getting your home ready to hand over to the new occupant. We can also help you unpack in your new home and get you organised for a new start! Click here to see our moving assistance service.
Will you judge me or tell others about my mess?
Absolutely not! We understand that opening your home to others can feel vulnerable. We always enter with a non-judgmental mind and respect your personal belongings, values and expectations.
What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee?
Our ultimate goal is to create freedom and space in both your home and mind. If we have not achieved this, please let us know. We will contact you a week after your organise to see how you are functioning in your new space. If needed, we will make some tweaks to your space to get it ‘right’ at no extra cost.
Do you install shelving or any other interior design elements?
No, however, we can organise for a professional tradesperson to do this for you.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
